Prior to starting her own business, she directed the Art and Composition Departments for two commercial printers \u2014 one in northern Massachusetts, the other in southern New Hampshire \u2014 from 1980 to 1986. She further honed her growing passion for typographic perfection for several years under the tutelage of noted typographer Robin McAllister. Additionally, Ms. Foss has taught courses in and delivered lectures on Typography for the University of New Hampshire Division of Continuing Education’s Graphic Arts Certificate Program.
