LACA is pleased to announce the
next installment in their series of
seasonal wine tastings,
featuring wine & cheese pairings
from around the world.
This fall we will learn about
Estate Wines of Germany.
JOIN US ON FRIDAY
NOVEMBER 3, FROM 7–9 PM
What a great time of year for German wines!
Did you know that German wines
are an amazing match
with your traditional holiday dinner?
Join us as we explore the wonderful wines of
German estates with Carla Snow of A Grape Affair.
Carla has traveled to each of these estates
and can explain the world of German wines to us
from first-hand experience. We will travel
through Germany visiting six estate wineries
while we learn the difference between the types
of German Wines (Riesling, Muller Thurgau,
Spatburgunder, and even Dornfelder).
You’ll also learn how to decipher
Germany’s system of grading and labeling
their wines. We’ll cover all the bases so you
can be comfortable selecting German wines.
And of course, we will taste them along the way!
The "Wines of the World"
German estate wine tasting will take place
at
Ampers& Gallery,
in downtown Newmarket,
surrounded by the wonderful
sculpture and monotypes of LACA
artist-member
Shaune McCarthy.
As a special treat, attendees will
get to meet Shaune in person that night!
BY RESERVATION ONLY
Cost for the evening is $35 per person
($30 for LACA members).
Space is limited to 30 people and
advanced reservations are required.
Reservations will be taken on
a first-come, first-served basis, so
contact us today to reserve your seats.
Come learn about German wines,
enjoy great art & good company
—and support your art community.
WE HOPE
TO SEE YOU THERE!
ART FEEDS THE
SOUL!
